House, a short film released on 24th August which shows a typical incident that happens to many Malaysians who are poor living in illegal built house. There is one Indian student who was asked by teacher to built a dream house model but he built a model of his own house instead which is just a small house. He was humiliated by the teacher and fellow students because of that.  This film shows a typical social economic problem facing by most Malaysians.

Halal, another short film released today. This is a comedy film shows the proper Islamic methods of slaughtering chicken in a Halal way. It is very hilarious and you will have a good laugh out of it.

The second short film out of 15 short films in total just goes live at 12.00 am Malaysian Time. I not really understand the meaning behind the story but just enjoy it… here is the video:

Yesterday 15Malaysia website released the first short film called Potong Saga. There will be 15 short films in total to commemorate Malaysia 52nd Independence Day which is on 31st August 2009. These short films will be produced by local filmmakers and act by local artist including what we least expected, Political Leaders. It will be interesting to see how the political leaders act in the films. We always saw them in TV news … but this is the first time in short films. 15Malaysia will release 1 short film every 2 days. So tomorrow 19 August 2009 will release another short film. Stay tuned and check back my blog again for the rest of the short films.
