I only post Jean Lim photos in this post. For the 12 other finalists photos, I will post it as separate post soon. For now, enjoy the photos of Jean Lim. She also the Miss Popularity.

The 12 finalists was picked based on judges points and internet voting through Panasonic Lumix Star Search website. The final start at 1.30pm but photographers already started to fill up the Midvalley Exhibition Center as early as 12pm to get a good spot to take picture of the 12 finalists who walked the stage to win the competition. I reached there at 12 pm and got a good spot which near enough for my 18-50mm lens. Now here is the 12 finalists:

Last week I went to Floria 2009 or Putrajaya Flower & Garden Festival 2009 which held from 1st August to 9th August 2009 in Precinct 2 in Putrajaya. All lot of flowers were on display during the event which some of it I don’t even know the name (haha I’m into flower). All the flowers were decorated nicely like a small garden. They even decorate the flowers look like an animal. This event attracted a lot of people especially photographer to take this chance to take Macro photograph of the flowers. Due to the amount of photos that I took was too many, I separate the photos into 2 parts which will be posted in 2 different post on Floria 2009. Here is the first part of the photos.
One of the purpose I went to Sepang Super GT Race is to practice my panning skill to take picture of moving object which is the GT cars. In order to take a photo where people can feel the car inside the picture is moving, you need use panning skill where you will need to set your camera to lower shutter speed and turn your body by following the car as it moves to take a very nice panning shot. Why must turn your body? When you put to lower shutter speed, the car in the picture will be blurred as the car is moving in fast speed. In order to take the car is very sharp but the background and the tyre remain blur, you need to turn your body while making sure the camera stay in focus on the car when taking the shot. Below are some of the panning shots I took during the event.
Here is the second part of Race Queens pictures taken from Japan Super GT 2009 race which held in Sepang, Malaysia last month. For those who miss out the first part of the Race Queens pictures, click the link below to view it.
Japan Super GT International Series was held in Sepang International Circuit last month. It was the only GT race outside of Japan which you won’t get to see it unless you are in Japan or Malaysia. I got myself a Main Grandstand ticket plus Pit Walkabout ticket which enable me to walk into pit lane and take pictures. During the Pit Walkabout sessions, we get the chance to take the pictures of Japanese race queens which come all the way from Japan. Here is the first part of the race queens pictures. More will come soon plus pictures of GT cars will come soon as well.
Hi everyone, Square Enix Party 2007 which held last 2 days in Makuhari Messe in Toky was a very successful event. I went on 12 May 07 at about 1 pm and a lot of people queuing up to try game demos like Final Fantasy Tactics A2 for DS, Final Fantasy Tactics for PSP, Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System for PS2, Closed Mega Theater for Final Fantasy 13.
There is a cosplay competition held on 12 May 07 morning which I missed it. They invited Jyonjri, a Japanese singer who sang a theme song for a new Square Enix game, It’s a Wonderful World (DS). Too bad they don’t allow people to take picture during her singing session here. This song is not that good compare to her previous album.
They put up a booth to commemorate 20th aniversary of Final Fantasy by showing all the products under Final Fantasy brand. The booth is nicely done and they have a notice board that allow visitor to give feedback to Square Enix on their product. Most people want them to remake Final Fantasy 7. This is very interesting and we hope Square Enix will take take this into consideration and quickily make the remake.. hopfelly with superior graphic like upcoming Final Fantasy 13.
They also put up merchandise shop in the event selling soundtrack, games, figurine, books….. Have I mentioned about their Archives book which they sell at 1000 yen each during the event? This book contains details on Final Fantasy products including the upcoming Final Fantasy 13 with 2 posters inside of Final Fantasy 13 and versus 13 plus stickers.
I quite impressed with the Dragon Quest game for Wii which showcased during the event. You just swing the controller like you swing a sword to kill the enemy. It is pretty interesting. There’s also a game combining Nintendo’s most popular character Mario with Dragon Quest for Nintendo DS. It is more like a puzzle game and hope I can try the game when it’s out in the near future.
Enjoy some photo I took during the event by clicking the picture below and also a video for your viewing.
